Yet another LTCF application question..
Has anyone ever used a PA hunting or fishing license as their secondary ID? I recently got my name changed so I won't have a W-2, voters card, or my state FD license for a few weeks... and damnit i've waited long enough I can finally get my license today and was hoping to swing by wallyworld, get a fishing license then go fill out my app. the website says its fine so i've gotta assume it is, just seems kinda weird to me something you can buy from walmart for 10bucks can be your secondary ID

Re: Yet another LTCF application question..
This reply isn't really relevant to your question, but I have used my LTCF as a primary form of ID.
I'm curious to know the answer to your question too.Last edited by mauser; August 9th, 2007 at 01:27 PM. Reason: Edited to be more concise

Re: Yet another LTCF application question..
I've used my LTCF as a primary ID as well. Can't imagine it wouldn't be honored as a secondary ID as well. I was buying some 9mm from Wal*Mart and the kid in the sporting goods section carded me to see if I was 21. I gave him my LTCF and he stared at that thing for a minute trying to figure out where my DOB was because it's in a different location than a normal driver's license, then he realized what exactly he was looking at, said "Oh, whoops" and handed me my ammo.

Re: Yet another LTCF application question..
maybe i didnt put it correctly... for the LTCF application you need one primary(going to use my drivers license), and one secondary ID... they say you can use your fishing or hunting license as your secondary ID to fill out the app to get a LTCF.. i have never had a LTCF so i can't use it as my secondary like you do when you renew... if the website says it i dont see there being a problem, just seems odd to me that that would be an option but hey whatever, makes my life a helluva lot easier so i'm not complaining, just curious

Have you updated your DL and Vehicle registration? They should send you a card that you can take in with you.

Re: Yet another LTCF application question..
I guess I didn't get your original post. If you are asking if you can use a fishing/hunting lic. as a second form of ID, and you posted the link to your sheriff dept. that states you can. As Chazman said, print it and bring it with you. What's the problem?
