357 REVOLVERS
Anyone have experience with a 4"? Favorite type? Manufacturer? size?.... I've been looking for a new one and would like to hear some opinons on yours.

In your PM to me you asked about the SP101. I had a 2" .38 for about 7 years. It was very accurate if you fired it single action. In my opinion, the double action trigger pull was too stiff to be a good target gun. However, a snubby is mainly for defense and the gun would work well for that.

+1 on the 4" 686
I think it is difficult to be dissapointed with any S&W revolver but the 686 is the best and most practical in my opinion.

nice looking 686!.... I should have mentioned that whichever one I pick, I would like to CCW AND do a bit of back-up hunting with it. The new S&W mod 60 5" just about fits the bill, but i wish it were an inch shorter!.. Also, I have a need for a smaller grip.

go for ruger - my dad has owned many ruger .357 (his favorite caliber) and i also own and use one. they're great, reliable guns.

Does anyone have an eaa vindicator in .357? I know they're german made and cheap, but that's all I know about them
