Show off your gear!! (PICS this time!)

Okay, so Santa was good to me and brought me a new digital camera! No excuse for not having pics, now.

Here's my new vest (ammo pouches coming, admin pouch from my old vest will be transferred to this one. This is an Eclipse RBAV from BAE. Got a good deal on it, and now I don't have to wear the goofy ACU pattern!



Here's a close up of my new boo boo kit (will be taking it to the range with me from now on in case people end up with more holes there than they came in with). I've got some quickclot gauze, shears, israeli bandages, an H bandage, burn dressing, ibeprofin, butterfly closures, a nasal airway, standard and petroleum jelly soaked gauze, alcohol wipes and some duct tape, along with sterile gloves. Bigger items will be going in my more complete first aid kit down the road, but this is to guard against bleed outs and severe trauma only.




Here's my older vest (might be looking at selling it, but not sure yet)
This is the blackhawk rig I was talking about in my original post. By the way, the Blackhawk desert ops boots are breaking in wonderfully! Very good, lightweight and supportive. We'll see how well they hold up.



More pics coming later when I get the pouches for my new vest, as well as my multicam bdu's straightened out and some other odds and ends.

Okay, guys...sorry for the messed up links. Got them fixed, and here you go!

OPOS is indeed my blood type. It's covered up until I open the flap of the kit. It's also on my dog tags, but this is easier to see in case someone pops open my kit if I become incapacitated.

Wow...from all the people who said before that this should be a picture thread, I thought it would catch on....but only a few replies so far, and no one's showing their stuff yet. I think we'd all love to see what you use! I've seen a similar thread on arfcom, but I'd love to know what people around here have

Well, I am the obsolete soldier. Everything I have, I got while woodland was the uniform. I'll see if I can post an upper body shot of myself totally equipped with what I have left.
