coyote hunting

I'm new to hunting coyotes and was wondering if any one could give me some advice on hunting coyotes and where to hunt them in Pa. I live in central pa and have contacts near scraton pa. Thanks for the help!

Here's a good place to start reading, should keep you busy for a while. http://forum.pafoa.org/hunting-23/15...es-page-2.html . I'm not from PA, so the techniques will need some adaptation, but that'll give you some ideas of what you need to watch for and how to get started. If you have any questions you can post them here or in that thread, and I'll try to answer them.

I think it's the Mosquito Creek Sportsmen that have a huge coyote hunt near the end of January. Even if you don't enter, hanging out at the clubhouse for awhile should be informative.

I think pretty much any place in Pa. is coyote country, you're probably in some of the best of it.

Your area is full of Coyotes, Just hang out at the Gunshops on Saturdays and make friends with like minded people and you'll be in the thick of it.
