Christmas Day OC
Well, it finally happened to me.....Someone finally noticed that I was OCing and said something to me about it.
I stopped in to the local Turkey Hill to pick up a few things before heading to my Mother's house for dinner. While waiting in line I saw a local radio DJ standing at the other register paying for some soda. I've worked with this person several times in the past for business functions but he's never seen me carry. I walked over to say hello and exchange holiday pleasantries. Half way through the conversation he bends over far to his left and oogles my Glock 19 that I was OCing.
DJ - Well what do you have there !?
Me - You like that? It's just my Glock.
DJ - Oh my! ummmm.......well.....you be careful out there, Merry Christmas! (exits store before I could finish answering his original question)
I'm not sure if the pistol scared him away or if he was just in a rush but it definitely seemed like he got a little uncomfortable.
Not really an eventful story but thought I would share.Manus Haec Inimica Tyrannis

Re: Christmas Day OC
Probably! Now that I think about it I was also wearing a DTOM (Don't Tread On Me clothing company) hoodie and matching beanie so I'm sure I looked like a walking 2A advertisement.
An hour later at Christmas dinner my grandmother said...
GM - You don't actually walk around with that thing (the G19) hanging out like that everywhere do you? Who are you going to shoot?
Me - Of course, if I knew who/when/where someone was going to attempt to harm myself, my family, or someone around me I wouldn't need it all the time would I
Little Brother - Don't worry, it's not like he carries with a bullet in the chamber.......that would be dangerous.
Me - /facepalm, I might as well carry a rock if there's not one in the chamber.
Little Brother - Wait, you have one in there now?
Me - Yeah
......silence.....
Mother - So how does everyone like the soup?
Just another wonderful family get togetherManus Haec Inimica Tyrannis

Re: Christmas Day OC
That's what she said! Sorry, couldn't resist
My new found love of OC mostly came from reading & learning on this lovely online community. I had no idea OC was legal until the oh so famous SFN(may she RIP) incident. Special thanks to edstephan, Pa Patriot, Mtn Jack, SFN, dcdalton, and all the other OC'ers on the site for giving me the OC bug!Manus Haec Inimica Tyrannis
