Santa Brought Me M&P R8
Christmas present to me... and to think I used to hate the holidays. Give it up for some wheel awesomeness.
Shiny Smith and Wesson Performance Center box... a good sign.
Inside is a Smith and Wesson 327.
M&P R8!! I never thought I would own an M&P, but they are not all autoloaders.
.357 Mag eight times and she is cut for moon clips.
Accouterments.
Barrel rail, unmounted.
The Smith and Wesson N frame is one bad ass platform. Now I have to go and order a holster and new grips for this beast. Now that is an OC gun...Join the groups protecting your rights from the fools trying to take them from you!

Re: Santa Brought Me M&P R8
damn, now that is a nice wheelgun.
I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

Re: Santa Brought Me M&P R8
About a year and a half ago I was at the York gun show holding one of those in my left hand. In my right was the 325 PD. I came home with the 325 and although I love it I still wonder if the R8 is the one I should have bought that day. Question about the moon clips.....do you need to use them in order to get a good hit on the primers. I need them with the 325 but that is because its chambered in .45 acp. Great score.......I think Santa meant to bring that to my house. He left you some socks and underwear here by accident. Where can we get together to swap?

Re: Santa Brought Me M&P R8
You are right, I am running low on socks and undies... there just seems to be too many wheelguns around.
From what I have read so far the moonclips are not needed to shoot.I will have a more definitive answer later today after the range trip.Join the groups protecting your rights from the fools trying to take them from you!
