Default Accurate 22 LR Whats out there?

I've been out of the 22 Lr loop for a few years now and am looking to maybe pick up a nice accurate 22 repeater again, I went the built 10/22 route before and had a very accurate medium wt. sporter rifle but my heart is in bolt actions. So whats availible these days in new rifles? In accurate I mean .500" or less at 50 yds with quality target ammo consistantly. And no I cant afford Antchutz(sp)

    Thanks,Tim

CZ 452/3 in the Varmint configuration. I've pulled less than 1/2" groups with CCI's.

Scoot up to Ace (Washington, PA) and check out the CZ 452 Trainer. For a few bucks more, see if they still have a CZ 452 Ultra Lux. The longer bbl give a sight radius that really lets you use their great iron sights.

Either way, once you handle one, you'll want it. Once you shoot one, you'll see what the CZ talk is all about.

Not new but, Mossberg M44 or even an M42, if you can find one. Koli at PMSC has/shoots a M44 if you wanted to check one out.

If you want new the CZ is the way to fly. Used, there are many options. one of the best around would be a Winchester mod. 75 target or sporter.

What's the price range you're lookin' at, and would you consider a bolt gun instead of a repeater?

A bolt gun with a magazine ( either removable or tube ) is a repeater.

Ah, in my circles a repeater is generally considered a semiauto..but then my circle is small and a bit twisted

Some say that the lever action Henry was the first assault rifle. Or as the confederate soldiers said "That damn Yankee rifle that you load on Sunday and shoot all week."

Ohhh prob. in the 500 or under range and as others stated yes a repeater to me is a bolt action more than a single shot.
