Does anyone carry OWB at the one o'clock position?
I have been carrying owb at one o'clock for a few months and find it quite comfortable. I am carrying a Ruger Sp101 in a Mitch Rosen leather 5Jr. No thumb break. The gun conceals very well and is fast to get to. When Im in the car I move my outer garment to expose the gun and it is right there if I need it. The only problem is in this position the loaded firearm is pointing right at my upper leg and pelvis. Has/does anyone carry like this? What did you do when driving? Thanks, Brian

sometimes I carry a snubby IWB appendix carry.
you are correct, it is very easy to access, with a holster that rides above where you bend it can be quite comfortable, is increadably better for access while sitting/driving, and can conceal fine dependant on gun/holster/belt/clothes.

If I'm standing for a while - or if I'm in a situation where I prefer to carry concealed, I'll slide my paddle holster from 3:00 to the 1:00-2:00 position. Since I've been losing weight the gun sticks out a bit more at 3:00...not enough "chubby goodness" to hide it anymore. LOL.
When driving, it's always at 3:00.Nine out of ten moderators approve of this post!

Funny. That was actually the first thing that popped into my head after reading the thread title.
I'm guessing they are just trying to make him look that much more dweeby/girl-like by having him carry it there - all flopping around like that.
To answer the OP's question, no, I don't.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Does anyone carry OWB at the one o'clock position?
I've considered carrying at 1 o'clock but I found it uncomfortable when sitting, especially while driving. I sometimes slide my holster forward when I'll be standing for a while, but that usually ends up more at 2 o'clock... perhaps 1:30.
I higher sitting holster might help with the sitting problem, but it still freaks me out when the business end is pointed directly at my crotch. I've always been told not to mix business with pleasure, so I find it best to keep them far apart.
