Default Hi-Cap Magazines For Browning BAR?

Does anyone know if they are being made, and by who? I'm toying with the idea of getting a Safari, (steel receiver), in .30-06. Having a few Hi-Cap magazines for it would make it even more versatile. Bill T.

I would be surprised if you found one , just too small of a market , although I believe it was eagle who made 10rd mags for the rem pump action rifles , I can't recall that model number it's on the tip of my tongue , anyhow they didn't sell well either to a larger market and alot of them were crap anyways.

I have a Remington 7400 semi in .30-06. It is a total TURD! Don't buy one. Spend the extra money and go with a Browning. The BAR has proven itself. I tried to save money, and now I will wind up spending more to get a reliable semi auto .30-06. I should have bought the BAR to begin with! Having a Hi-Cap Magazine for a gun that is unreliable is a solution to a non existant problem. Like this aftermarket junk they sell for the Ruger Mini 14. Bill T.

Why not call Browning up and ask them if they offer a hi cap magazine? I would say no because Browning isn't exactly known for their hi cap options on their rifles, but I could be mistaken.

As far as Eagle mags...they suck. Eagle products shouldn't even be considered magazines.

Hello: I have never seen one and I don't think they are available, because: the magazine for the BAR actually clips into the attached cover that hinges down when you operate the release. The cover would need to be removed if a larger mag was to be used.
