I can supply some rainbow trout, freshly frozen this summer...

Re: JF&G Fish Fry 2-13-10
I mentioned to Mauser that anyone insane enough to have a cookout in a blizzard needs to have some supervision. I will do my best to be there for the next one. The pictures of the cooking that show that someone brought a heater are priceless. That's my kind of people.
The question is?
What do I bring to contribute? I know $$ always works.

Re: JF&G Fish Fry 2-13-10
I talked to my neighbor, we can borrow the cooker again and there is oil at the club. From what I've been reading you can reuse peanut oil multiple times but the smoke point goes down a little bit each time and it retains the flavor of whatever you've cooked in it. It's recommended that fish be the last use for it.
I left a 20# propane bottle there and I can supply another as a backup. The buffet warmer I have gets plenty hot enough and there's a rack to use instead of the 3 buffet trays so we could steam some stuff to. That would expand our menu options to include things that typically don't get deep fried.
I'll keep an eye on who's supplying what and help to fill in some blanks at the last minute.
I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.
