Glock punch/or tool
Hey, the guy in the youtube video for glock disassembly says all I need is a 3/32" "punch" to take out the pins on my glock. Well I got one and it didn't work. The point may have fit but then it just got too wide from point to top. It wouldn't even punch out the locking block pin much less the trigger housing pin. These pins are different sizes, how can one tool do all three? I took it back. Now the glock tool states it is 3/32" or 2.3mm. The one I bought said 3/32" or 2.4mm. Could then extra tenth of a mm make a difference? I went to Sears in montgomeryville and home depot in souderton, no one has what i need, should I just order the glock tool online??? I'm really fixated on this now and its driving me nuts...
Now less Glock, more H&K :)

Just get a pack of punches at Sears or a pack of brass punches off Ebay.
Sounds like you got a tapered punch.

Re: Glock punch/or tool
Also try Harbor Freight if you got one in your area, I'm sure they have pin punches

Or just use a small allen key. The Glock pins don't require much force. I've taken Glocks apart with pen caps, before.

Re: Glock punch/or tool
Like they all said and for putting it back together a set of pin punch holders is well worth the couple bucks.
They have the tips hollowed out to hold the pin and start it straight/square in the hole (You all should be able to appreciate driving the pin straight into the hole). Once started ,you finish w/ the standard PP. both are great for gunsmithing but you will use them for all kinds of hardware.
