What's not to like about your 1911 filling that niche?

Tony basicly i just want something that is alittle smaller, more resitant to sweat and double action, also my 1911 is limited to 6+1 as shown

I only see 5 rounds... But that aside, you'll be hard pressed to find something that is much more concealable unless it is something like a Kahr single stack. double stack guns like glocks are much thicker and more likely to create a lump on your side.

Nothing except maybe a Kahr will be as concealable as that officer's model. A G27 is much thicker and bulkier.

Well, there is the G36, which I'm sure will be lighter.

But it's safe to say that 1911 owners would probably be underwhelmed by G36 ergonomics.

Is the 9mm/.40 Glock frame that much thicker than the 1911 frame? Personally, I found the mini-Glock actually seemed blockier than the mid-sized Glocks like the G19 just because they were smaller hence felt squarer.

You still see S&W 3913's around -- that might be an option in this niche.
