Acquired another 7.62 NATO caliber rifle making this one surplus. The offered rifle is comprised of what appears to be a matching number Austrian STG58 FAL kit. Bolt carrier has matching number along with the barrel to the lower receiver. The receiver is of the distinctive “widow’s peak” twin feed ramp improved type. Fired 20-rounds though this rifle last month and it functioned well. This is a very powerful rifle!

This is NOT a Century put together "Franken-Fal" type rifle. It was instead an STG kit built upon a Century R1A1 marked receiver. According to the person from which it was acquired, the rifle contains a number of USA manufactured parts, including some trigger group components. My understanding of these particular weapons is limited so it has not been disassembled.

Figure that with the current price of basic STG58 parts kits, in pieces without a receiver, this complete rifle has good intrinsic value. There is no carrying handle present though the receiver is made for one. The rifle is in overall very good condition with finish wear here and there. Has the original metal Austrian military front hand guard set with bipod. Comes with two 20-round steel box mags.

If this STG58 isn’t traded or sold off soon, then the thing gets stashed away as a rainy day investment. At this point, these heavy hitter battle rifles are without doubt much better than money in the bank.

Trade deal in part considered for; Marlin lever action carbine or rifle in 35 Remington., .357 or .44 magnum. Original configuration SKS carbines, AR180B, Dae-Woo K2 or some other interesting long arm. I like rifles and riot type shotguns too.
