Anyone know of a decent indoor pistol range around Pittsburgh?
I typically shoot on privately owned land in Butler County, but I'd like to take someone shooting who lives south of Pittsburgh. I'd be happy to drive down there and bring them back here to shoot, but at this time of year with the short days, that's not going to work. Typically they aren't free until the late afternoons, and it may be a while before they have time to take a whole day for me to drive down there, bring them back here, and still have plenty of daylight left to do some shooting.

A couple clubs have them, and Anthony's is across from the Allegheny County Airport on 885.
Mondays are guys night, no fee for men. (range ammo only)

Thanks for the reply.
I had high hopes there for a bit, that location would be great. But I just looked at Anthony's website. There is no conceivable way I could stomach those prices to shoot. $12.50 per person per hour, plus they'll require I shoot their ammo. Ugh...
I think I'll wait until I have time to bring her back up here and shoot out in the cold on private property.
Thanks again

you can come out to the PAFOA group shoots and shoot on a nice outdoor range. second sunday of every month. today was a group shoot day, but mother nature had her mind set against it.

Join a sportsman's club! My club, in Aliquippa, is $35/year, and has an indoor pistol range that's open 24/7. I go in the very early AM, so I have the place all to myself, and you can't beat the price.

I can recommend A&S indoor pistol range in Youngwood.
www.indoorpistolrange.com
Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful people.
Very clean and nice.
Also, they do not require you to buy their ammo.
It's about an hour away from Butler but I'm willing to make the drive every once in a while.
