I just sent in my check for membership and had a couple of questions from anyone that is a member over there. I was told they vote new members in on the last Tuesday of Dec. Do you have to be there that night to be considered?
And is it fairly easy to get into the club if you do not have a sponsor? Thanks.

You do not have to be present to be considered. Stop by on a thursday evening, I think that is when they have IDPA practice. Talk to some people. Shoud be able to have someone there sponsor you.

Yepper, last Tuesday of the month is the meeting. And the SIGHTS IDPA group shoots on Thursday nights - there will be someone there by at least 6:00pm, and we shoot until around 9:30p or whenever we stop shooting both the targets and the proverbial breeze....

Don't have to be there to be voted in, and sponsors are not a hard and fast requirement. Safe shooting practices and cleaning up after yourself along with respecting the equipment / ranges is, tho....

Stop on up tomorrow nite and meet the crew!

Thanks guys. really appreciate it. This week and next week are finals review and finals at school so I will plan to stop over after that is done.
