Default Re: Glock 34 vs Glock 17 accuracy

My Glock 17 is actually a 17L (6" barrel). The 17L was the predecessor to the G34. I believe the 17L's barrel is slightly longer then the G34 barrel.
    That establishes my credentials.
The 17L does shoot a bit more accurately the when I install the standard 17 slide (longer sight radius is proably most the difference, but maybe the 17 slide just isn't as tight). The standard 17 does handle a bit quicker, but that is an extremely subjective opinion.

BTW, if you installed the G34 slide on a standard 17 frame, did you change out the connector too (3½ lbs vs. 5½ lbs)? I actually prefer the 5½ lb connector (which I have in a G19) over the 3½ connector, but the lighter pull does make for more accurate shots. My problem with the 3½ lb connector is firing before I'm ready on occasions.

Well, pushed 60 too hard so now I am the big SIX-OH. Now I can be a real pain in the ass! And, who says growin' old isn't fun!!
