deer
Where did all the deer go? These has me really pissed. There are going to be no deer for our kids to shoot. They say we need to introduce new hunters in to hunting. Well wont need to there will be nothing for them to hunt. Even the small game around here sucks. Protect all the pretatory birds. Screw that. there is where all our phesants, rabbits, squirrels, even turkeys are going. Oh when is the last time u seen a grouse? PGC needs to wake up. STOP DOE HUNTING

Re: deer
They're all laying dead on the side of the highways....or they're all living in residential areas where there are no hunters

Re: deer
I have seen two deer KILLED by hunters (or poachers). One with only the head removed and one that was illegal. While camping in Bald Eagle we found a poached bear carcass. It was a fresh kill with the fur removed!
I agree stop the doe permits! I will be hunting in OH GEEZE I'm goinf to say it MD next year! Hell my buddy got three deer in one week down there. They are over run with deer! Big ones too!
I have not killed ( or even seen while hunting) a deer here in PA EVER! I have been here 7 years!
While hunting today I did hear coyote and saw a pheasant yesterday! The damn bird allowed me to get within 5 ft of it. Actually, I think we startled each other!
I am so frustrated with hunting that I just don't want to go out anymore! All I see are trees and people!

Re: deer
welcome to PA gun season. I've lived her mostly all my life, and it's at the lowest I've seen in 34 years hunting. I still see deer, but I don't shoot doe and this infernal couting points bullshit has got to go. I see the deer, but they are moving. This is all set up for the bowhunters.
Ruttin, there are deer in beaver county, but once the bullets start flying, they are in the lowest, thickest, most posted cover you can find - game lands are a lost cause.
