Re: Monroeville Convention Center Gunshow
I've been to Washington twice and Monroeville once, IMHO the Wash Co show is more "gun related flea market" at the Monroe show is more "guns with some other misc stuff"
they're both fun to go walk around in, I'm thinking of trying to hit both, but if I had to choose between the two I'd probably pick Monroeville

Re: Monroeville Convention Center Gunshow
It wasn't bad. A decent amount of guns and vendors selling accessaries. I got a screaming deal on an STI "Big stick".

Re: Monroeville Convention Center Gunshow
This was my first time at this show at the convention center.
Ammo prices were a tad high, but it was available. Not a real large selection of pistols/rifles.
Several vendors with BBQ, jerky, jewelry, tazers, flashlights and a few Beanie Babys.
I did find a really nice price on some 12 gauge LE buck shot.
Tables were nicely spaced out and the crowd was not too large.
All in all, a fairly nice smaller show.
And I will be going back tomorrow to make one additional pass through the show.
Thanks,
Hoover

Re: Monroeville Convention Center Gunshow
Yes small show is right. I was a tad on the disappointed side due to lack of vendors. I thought it was going to be alot bigger but ohh well. I didn't get any of the black rifle stuff i wanted and one vendor looked at me like I was crazy when I asked him for hogue grips "I cant carry everything" well ill just do my business elsewhere. I did end up getting a streamlight and a new pelican along with a 1080 case of 5.45x39.

Re: Monroeville Convention Center Gunshow
L-A-M-E !!!! I was at this show the last time, and there were far more vendors, and I don't recall them partitioning off the room last time with curtains to make it look more full. The number of vendors was way down. I thought it may be due to the washington show going on -- so I drove there - another disappointment I'll post in that thread.
The last time, $8 was still high, but I didn't feel violated. Today, I felt ripped off. I could see anything there at a store - incredible for $8 - cost me $16 for my son and I.Last edited by huntingbeaver; December 13th, 2009 at 12:02 AM.
