Re: Forum Changes: Negative Reputation Disabled Indefinitely
Spoken by the neg rep posterboy
You are actually the best argument for neg rep. You came here talking all kinds of nonsense, and got red squared. Then you started to realize you couldn't post nonsense and that you should actually think before you post, and you got green squared.
It isn't all about free speech here, it is about making sure the information that gets put out is factual, and that your free opinions are labled as just that, opinions, not facts. Now there will be no one to correct you, have at it son...

Re: Forum Changes: Negative Reputation Disabled Indefinitely
If we have a functioning community, we're all teachers and students here. I still learn things from folks here in the forum, and I hope folks learn useful things from me as well. Besides, "corrective debate" can only happen between willing participants. Sometimes, people are so bull-headed that that's just not possible. That's where NegRep comes in.

Re: Forum Changes: Negative Reputation Disabled Indefinitely
I never considered myself a bad poster and never gave trolls positive rep but just wondered why my posts went from 108 to 40-some.
Maybe I am missing something. Can someone please elaborate me?
I am a little confused now. If it was something that I did wrong or said then please except my sincere apology.
