Indiana to disclose permit owners on News site
Does anyone else feel this is grossly unnecessary? Possible even putting Permit owners in harm's way?

Re: Indiana to disclose permit owners on News site
When are the news sites going to post Social Security numbers, bank account and credit card numbers, mothers maiden names, first pet names and the stage name of the first hot busty red head that was "intercoursed."

Re: Indiana to disclose permit owners on News site
The government should realize that allowing publication of permit information will be a nail in the coffin for permit laws as a 2A violiation of infringement. It is a catch 22. The government wants to require a permit when it really is not allowed. Then the government wants to allow publication of persons granted a permit as a public right to know. However, this act endangers permit holders and seekers and thus further infringes or discourages engaging in a right (on top of the illegal permit requirement). Let us open voter rolls and publish if you vote, and who you voted for. We have the technology to do this now. The ACLU would be all over that violation.
I think we need a poll tax. Poor people are not successful, so why should they get a vote on the system? They cannot even work the system. We also need tests. People with low IQ should not have a say in government. They would only pollute the system with their stupidity. Those who have not served have sacrificed nothing, so why should they get a say in giving away our rights when they have not trained to defend them? So, DD214 should be required. Current soldiers, however, should not vote as none of them would vote to continue a war. They would not be objective. And those that vote, should be publicly published so we know who to blame for our situations.
Now, before I get jumped on, please note:It is you. You have all the weapons that you need. Now fight. --Sucker Punch

Re: Indiana to disclose permit owners on News site
I would advocate some old fashioned justice against the author of the column who thought this would be a good idea...

Re: Indiana to disclose permit owners on News site
NOT a good idea at all!
My sister, who lives in Ohio, told me there was an 'incident' a few years back where someone got hold of a permit list and a newspaper published it. As far as she knew it wasn't illegal to do so but man did the shit hit the fan over it. There are still lawsuits going because of it from what I know.
Plain and simple a bad idea and a breach of 'personal privacy' if nothing else.
