Shimersville Indoor Range
Never knew about this range but it was a very pleasant trip tonight. Kinda hidden its next to where the skatepark used to be in Shimerville right of rt 29. A buddy took me over there tonight and it was a very relaxed shooting atmosphere. I will be going back there in the future just for how quite it was there. I believe it was 9.45 for a hour. I believe if i read the hours right they are open 5:30pm to 10:00pm M-F and like 11-10PM on Saturday. Dont quote me on that but i was very impressed with my experience there tonight.

Although it is a little seedy and sometimes so dark that I cant see my sites it is a relaxed place to shoot. Ken is a fun guy to talk too.
I would shoot there regularly until I lost my job in Allentown.

Re: Shimersville Indoor Range
I haven't been there in a while. I think it's $6 per hour plus $3 for additional shooter on the lane. Did you and your buddy share the lane? $9 sounds about right.
It is knida dingy/seedy in there. They don't offer much in the way of rental guns. But you can't beat the price for an indoor range.
Oh, and before it was a skate park, it use to be a drive in movie theater. Long long ago.The right to bear arms isn't for hunting bear. Subliminal Messages

Re: Shimersville Indoor Range
No im pretty sure it was 9.45 for one lane for a hour and then we shared the lane for 4 more. bought like 5 targets and it came to 20 even. I know what you mean by little dark. However for the ease of use and indoors i will take it any day. Will be back again to waste some shells for sure.

There is low light and there is dark. Shimersville can be dark. At one point this summer half of the lights were out.

Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.JFK
