I renewed at Doylestown courthouse in DEC last year. Woman who processed me for the plastic card was very efficient and friendly. Not a word was said about any special 'rules' with the license. I remember her saying it was good I went in on a weekday b/c the place was packed on Saturdays.

I'm no mathematician, but it seems to me that I should be able to reconcile this:

    $19+$5+$1=$25, no?

Where does $46, $21, or $29 come from?

(not trying to argue the point..just trying to understand the process)

OK...then maybe this thick head can word it differently....

For those who go to Doylestown...and get to walk out with LTCF in hand in 15 minutes...Does Donnelly personally have anything to do with that? Does he actually look at and approve each application that comes thru his office?

I forget which...but i just read on here that at least one particular County's dept has a dedicated person who handles the apps...Doylestown probably has similar...why cant Levittown/Quakertown?

Has anyone been given any printed material that contains any incorrect info?

I've been reading through some other threads, and I'm getting the impression that the verbal instructions are highly inconsistent.

I - will -try -to - speak -real -slowly.

The Sheriff's Office is in Doylestown, not Levittown.

If you want to go their office, drive to the Sheriff's office in Doylestown, and get your approved license while you wait.

OR: Drive to the Levittown Government Service Center (note it does not say Sheriff's Office as Stated 3 times, the Sheriff's Office is in Doylestown). They will take your information and money and forward for your convenience to the Sheriff's Office in Doylestown. The Sheriff's Office in Doylestown will then send back to The Government Service Center. They will call you to pick it up. My renewal took one week.

    Man, i need a vacation.

It almost sounds like one employee is just making it up as she goes along.

I was then told, "Its the law that you must carry concealed". "Any place you enter that has no guns sign, or a picture of it, you will not enter or you will be arrested and lose your license".
