Back from my Stay at Fort Benning

Well I just got back from my stay at Fort Benning GA where I completed Basic Training and Infantry AIT. Let me tell you it feels good to be home at last. I never thought I would miss winter in PA so much.

Funny thing, during my stay at Benning School for Boys, we got 9 inches of snow for our FTX. That was in December of 1987. I was not missing PA's winter then

National Guard going to drill at the Connellsville Armory until we get deployed no date as of yet.

You know enlisting during peace time like I did is one thing, but enlisting when you know deployment is a real good possiblity is another.....
