I have a buddy (at Minot, no less!) that is flying on the same big ugly fat effer that his grandfather flew in in the sixties and his dad flew in in the late 80's/early90's! That's right, three generations in the same bird!

The B-52 is, has, and always will be my favorite aircraft. When an American president wants to project the might of the United States, he either sends aircraft carriers, or B-52s.

OP, thanks for sharing. That is a great vid. The B-52 serves a purpose and will continue to do so until the funding for NGB or some other platform comes through. Though obsolete in almost every possible way, they're still being flown because they represent a value.
