~ Austrian STG58 7.62 NATO Cal Battle Rifle
For Trade ~ Austrian STG58 7.62 NATO Caliber Battle Rifle
Acquired another 7.62 NATO rifle so this one is surplus. Had a few interesting swap offers, but most were on the other side of Pennsylvania.
First off this is NOT a Century Franken-Fal made from random parts. The rifle is comprised of what appears to be a matching number Austrian STG58 FAL kit that was built upon a Century R1A1 marked receiver. Bolt carrier has matching number along with the barrel and lower receiver. The receiver is of the distinctive “widow’s peak” twin feed ramp improved type. Fired 20-rounds though this rifle last month and it functioned fine. This is a powerful rifle!
According to the person from which it was acquired, the rifle contains a number of USA compliant parts, including some trigger group components. My understanding of this particular weapon is limited.
Figure that with the current price of raw STG58 kits without a receiver, this complete rifle is a worthy item. There is no carrying handle present though the receiver is cut for one. The builder is not known, but the rifle is in overall very good condition. Has the metal Austrian front hand guard set with bi-pod. Comes with two 20-round steel magazines.
If this STG rifle doesn't get traded off soon, the thing gets stashed away as rainy day investment. These heavy hitter battle rifles are without doubt better than money in the bank.
Some sort of trade deal considered involving the following;
~ AR180b Armalite ~ Daewoo K2 or related model ~ AR15 type carbine
Also interested in M1 Carbine ~ M1 Garand rifle ~ Marlin lever actions in .357 magnum or whatever caliber and (non-bubba modified) SKS carbines.
Not much into hand guns though.
Can do a FTF thing within about a 40-mile radius of Tannerville here in northeast PA at zip 18372.
