Default hunting deer with a 590.

So I hunt mostly with rifle but I'm stuck hunting in a shotgun only spot this year. My usual deer shotgun is out of service at the moment and my bird shotty is just to damn long for my taste.
My question is if I plug my 590 to only hold 5 shots is that pa legal?

I'm not 100%, but I thought that a shotgun can only hold a max of 3 shells, one in the chamber, and 2 in the magazine. New to hunting though, so I wouldn't count on that being right.

Just read the regulations and I don't see anything about magazine capacity. I just don't want to get my balls busted for hunting with a evil black shotgun.

Last year I carried my 9 shot 590 loaded to the gills. I may this year as well, haven't decided.

Be safe (and have enough fuel on board).

That's what I thought so my evil black shotgun it is. 8 + 1 is such overkill but a mans got to do what a mans got to do. Though I think I will leave the bayonet off.

Let me reword that its not that I hate hunting in delco,I love it. I'm just a shotgun for birds and home defense and a rifle, bow,or pistol for deer sort of Guy.
