I was debating whether I wanted to change the grip or sell it. I've listed it a few times and then decided to hang on to it. After shooting the SP101 I've decided not to spend any more money on the 642 and put it back up for sale. I like my carry guns to also be usable at the range because I like to keep my skills fresh with everything I shoot. The 642 beats the hell out of me and I already have enough problems with arthritis in my hands.

Thanks for all the replies. Seems like most people like it. I'm not planning on shooting boxes of ammo every week out of it. More like sighting in and getting used to it. Then carrying it 24/7, maybe shoot it once a month or so just so the bullets don't get stale. I'm kind of looking for an excuse to get a new gun. I already have a couple of boxes of .38's so I need a gun to shoot them. Sounds like a good enough excuse to me.
