    Default 500 S&W Accelerator

Ok so I saw on gunbroker that sabots were being sold for use with .45 cal bullets in a 500 S&W mag. However I have seen no type of actual use examples. So I have a 500 S&W handi rifle that I am curious to see if this would work!
Does anyone here have any info on how to go about this test or thoughts on the subject? Powder charges to start with? bullet weights? Examples of failed catastrophic attempts and so forth. It seems like an interesting concept thats all. I dont want to do anything foolish.

I'm not an expert on the 500 but if it shoots a bullet the same weight as the 45 (say a 300 gr) I dont see why you couldnt using 500 starting data for that weight and go from there .Pressure would be lower as there is less barrel friction due to the sabot.
