    Talking .30 Carbine hand gun??!!! ! ! ! !

    Well here it is folks.
    I bought something that is not a Smith and Wesson Revolver.
    It's an AMT Automag in .30 carbine.
    What can you tell me about them?
    I am aware that the bullet is supposed to be moving at 1600 FPS out of this stainless steel bugger....
    It's a tad big for pocket carry
    And I bet it will make a big boom noise.
    But now my M1 Carbine will have a friend.
    I have known about these, But this was the first one I saw in person in 30 carbine.
    What do you all think?

    I had one long ago, and I can tell you right now - invest in good ear protection.. lol I got into a financial bind and had to sell it and another AMT in 22mag flavor. ...still wishing today I didn't have to do that.

    guilty.

    I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

    I could swear that I saw a Ruger version in my local shop a few weeks ago. I did not handle it, so I am not 100% on that.
