LTCF Acquisition in Northampton County
Hey there,
In about a month from now, I'll be heading to the sheriffs office for the LTCF application. Few questions about getting it in Northampton, however.
Where do I go? I always figured I'd get it in Lehigh County, but I technically live in Northampton, due to college and tax info. (Split residences)
Anyone know what the cost is?
Whats the current turn around? Is Northampton an "instant acquisition" county?
Anything else I should know?
Thanks in advance!

For Northampton, you go to the Sheriff's office in the basement of the Easton courthouse. The application fee was ~35 dollars and I got the license about 2 weeks after applying.
It was a pretty simple process. They take your picture there, so you don't need to bring your own passport style photo.

They don't waiver on this.

Re: LTCF Acquisition in Northampton County
I'm waiting on my renewal that I applied for on October 22. It seems to be taking a little longer than in the past. I'm aware of the "may take up to 45 days to process" rule, so I still have 3 days to go, but I'm getting a little "concerned". Anyone else experience this with Northampton Cty lately?
Maybe due to to the fact that retired Sheriff Hawbacker's role has not been filled yet? I dunno.
