    Default s&w 686 over top ruger sp101

    Does anyone have a picture of a smith 686 overlayed on a ruger sp101. Just looking to see the size difference.

    Here are pics of the requested. The 686 is the SSR variant from the Pro shop. The Ruger is the DAO 2.25 (i think) bbl.

    Big difference.
    Now can you put the 686 on top of a model 27/ 4"er?
    It seems like you and I have a similar interest in shooters.

    I do not have an "N" frame anymore. I had a 25-2, yet I traded it for neatest autoloader I have ever owned the HK P7 (pics of it in the gun pics section, back from Robar). I shoot at Classic Pistol, as it is only about 15 minutes from home. I was there yesterday with my woman cutting neat holes in paper.

    oh the SSR... Those things are soooo noice... They should have made it withoutninternal lock tho(still not sold onthe idea)

    The SSR shoots great, I do indeed lust after her. My new Simply Rugged holster makes it possible to carry the SSR quite easily... here is a pic:
