Re: Vickers Tactical Level 1 Pistol/ Carbine Class
mmmmmmmmm
I wanted to take a Vickers class
and this would satisfy my basic carbine I wanted to get in, then I could take Carbine II with Randy Cain later in the year............
lets see
3 days at the hotel at aprox $100/day = $300
food for 3 days = $175
class =$700
rental car and gas aprox = $200
round up cost = $1500
where did that training budget thread go????????????

Re: Vickers Tactical Level 1 Pistol/ Carbine Class
I saw this posted on m4c too and I'd love to take this class - but there are 2 problems.
1. Son's 16th b-day is the 4th
2. It's Easter weekend.
Although, with it being Easter, we get off work for good Friday so it'd be one less vacation day to use.
I'll need to wait and see but i don't think this one is going to work.
d90 - are you doing this one?

Re: Vickers Tactical Level 1 Pistol/ Carbine Class
If you guys will go, I will go. I will drive, pay for gas and we can split lodging to reduce cost. If it means you guys will go and get this training then I will go so we can hang for 3 days and get some of the best training money can buy . I am waiting for the date of Pistol/Carbine II because I was planning on that anyway...
Keep in mind the cost is a little bit higher because its a 3 day not 2, normaly they are $450...
I want to point out that training with LAV is an experience not to be missed. He has a style that brings both humor, and a great atmosphere to learn in. He stresses solid fundamentals, proper trigger control and accuracy is a must . You will learn all of the above and leave with valuable drills to take home with you and to continue your training.... A three day is great because it will really allow you to witness the progression in your skills...
As far as payment, I spoke with Paul this am and your CC card is put on file, validated and then charged 30 days prior to the class date. It is secured through Grey Group (which is a great site that sells some excellent kit..)
I have been given permission to list Grey Groups classes and will post classes that I think could work. I will keep the westerners in mind for Ohio classes.
I ask one thing out of this forum in regards to these classes that I will post because I believe strongly in training and training hard. Never stop pushing yourself to the next level.... There will be a LOT of top notch instructors that I will be posting class schedules. Don't miss Hackathorns class I posted if possible. He is a legend and after reading an AAR, you will be pushed harder than you can imagine.
Do NOT sign up for a class that you are not committed to attending. These classes fill up quickly and its not fair to those who want to attend but cant because its full.
