    Default Glock Recoil Spring Problem?

The last coil on the recoil spring of my new Glock 26 looks like it is working it's way off of the guide rod. I only have a couple hundred rounds downrange, but the gun functions flawlessly. I'm not carrying the 26 until I can get a new spring and rod assembly. Anyone ever see this before?

    Sorry for the bad pic...

I just checked my G27 for a smiliar issue and I couldn't find it to be like the one your showing. I looked at my girlfriends dads G26 and his spring does work it's way a little closer to the end of the guide rod like the one your holding but not quite that much. He carried his as an agent since the 90's so his has some rounds through it. He said nothing on the gun has ever been replaced. Let me know what you find.

They all look like that. I have 3, 2 of them brand new, and they all look exactly like that ..... don't worry, shoot and be happy

Well it does function fine... so I'll just keep shooting it then. Thanks for the info.

It's the other end you need to keep an eye on.
