Muzzle brake question
I have an early pre89ban chinese ak that came with a muzzle nut but no muzzle brake. Does anyone know if the original chinese slant cut brake had markings. I found a slant cut for sale that has C marking. My research found a C marking that has radial marks around the C and is called shining C and is German. Any information appreciated. Any location help appreciated.

Re: Muzzle brake question
I've seen quite a few Norinco 56s-1 with the slanted brakes. I am not sure if they are factory original or not: http://rapidfirearms.net/categories.html . Maybe George Bersteil would be nice enough to answer your question.
My Norinco 84s-1 come with bird cage flash hiders. I tried several different brakes for it, but none will fit the threads.
