    Default Hunter safety course help

My little sister wants to go out with us for deer this year but I cannot find a class that isn't full around here. Is there another option to get her into a safety course before the end of the month? Any help would be appreciated.

I did the course online and took the test last week.

There were quite a few people who just showed up. The instructor also offered to let some parents who weren't signed up either to take the test.

Might just prepare yourself and show up. People don't show and voila you can.

The online course is more intensive then the actual class.
The majority of little kids I saw there, had their parents basically fill out their tests for them. In fact it practically was a joke, to get certified by way of testing.

So not that I'm telling you to do the work for her, but it is what it is.

When I took the course it wasn't overly blatant, but as you write, parents were whispering the answers to their kids. This was right after a long spiel on ethics. One would think those kids would have scored higher. Perhaps they would have without their parents help.

If that were my class, all parents would be asked to wait in the hall.

I do not allow cheating in my classes and the WCO's I know dont either.

Tell that to thw WCO who supervised my hunter-trapper course.
The parents were BLATANTLY giving their kids answers on the final.
I mean at first it was a whisper but by the end they were practically walking across the room to share answers with other parents/families.

By the end there were a few really dim children, still taking the 100 question test after nearly 2 hours. At that point some of the instructors sat down and literally filled in the answers for them, because the 30 people outside were getting rowdy,

When my daughter recently took Hunter Safety in Md, all the parents had to go outside.
They also had a number of failures, youths and adults.

OK. I will try that. The one that I wanted to take her to is at Gander Mountain in Johnstown so even if she can't get in I'll get in some shopping I guess. Is there a way to get a hold of the instructor?
