He biggest known accomplishment was impregnating Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol, during Palin's presidential run last year. Levi, the supportive type, broke off with Bristol to celebrate his mediocrity with the media. Your question pretty much sums it up...he's gone from pedestrian to unknown.

William Shatner took a selection of Johnston's (blog..tweets?) postings and read them. With Shatner's deadpan eloquence added, it was hilarious. Here it is on youtube:

Levi Johnston's supposed Twitter account has received much attention — most recently on the "Tonight Show," where William Shatner performed a dramatic reading of @LeviJohnston05's tweets. However, Johnston's lawyer says it's not him tweeting, and now he's demanding a retraction from NBC.
TMZ reports that Rex Butler, Johnston's attorney, is demanding a retraction given Conan O'Brien's quote introducing the Tweets, when he said, "All real ... we did not make these up."
Butler told TMZ that he is "in the process of dealing with Twitter first. I think they have an obligation once something like this happens to make some kind of corrective measure."
