Even though some of my replies may seem childish and instigating, and at times offensive - I'm mature enough and secure enough in my knowledge and opinions to handle reading all others without the need to block them no matter how much they differ from mine or how offensive they are to me.



I'm sure I'm blocked by a few here though.

I had cleared my ignore list a while back completely . Started using it again tonight .

I'm such an easy going person....its almost impossible to piss me off....let alone enough to put you on the Ignore list.

Meh. I don't use it. Some people I ignore on my own. Others are simply too comical or chronically stupid to ignore.

I'm sure some ignore me, but that's just because they can't handle high-quality sarcasm and wit.

not really, i got an infraction for people like that, well i cant totally blame them, i should have ignored them a lot sooner and tried to keep my thread on track instead of giving in, but you'd think seasoned PAFOA veterans would be above noob bashing.

No never use it everyone has a say under the 1st and sometimes whats said may change my mind on a subject. I may dislike what you say but never enough to ignore.

I agree. Part of what I learn from any social interaction also has to come from the negative.

Nope. If I ignored everything and everyone that irritates me, I'd spend all (rather than just most) of my spare time reading hard SF, and an occasional Terry Pratchett novel. Idiocy amuses me anyway. Then, there are the people that usually make me want run in small circles gibbering as I tear my hair out by the handful (which would be really difficult considering how short I keep my hair), but once in a while, post something profound. If I put them on my ignore list, I'd miss the gems.

I agree as well. I'd miss the gems. There are members here who I loathe. But, once in a while, I'll read something and think... "Damn, he's not such a bad guy and I can be an ass too."

absolutely..theres a few on my list that add nothing to threads except blatant pig-headedness and insults...its a much better world with "ignore"
