i like the brass idea, though i'm not fond of lock tightening parts that should see at least a semi annual cleaning.
it's only metal, we can out think it....

Thanks for the help guys. You both got me to look at things a little closer and I found that there was a buildup under the ejector. It looked like unburnt powder? I was shooting some lead reloads through. But the important thing is it is functional again. I sent reps to you guys. It saved me from paying someone to do a job I was able to do with the right info.
Now I just have to clean my other guns this way.I've got two guns... One for each of ya (Doc Holiday)
