    Default Distance from Houses

How far do you have to be from a dwelling for archery?
My Neighbors ,in Valley Forge, Think it is 150 yards so that there should be no hunting at all in the area.
    Is It 50 yards?
Do these apply to archery as well as firearmes.
    Thanks

From what I understand, you cannot hunt within 150 yrds of an occupied dwelling place if you're hunting with a firearm, or within 50 yrds if you're hunting with a bow or crossbow.

But don't take my word for it, check it here for yourself:

    Attention: Section 2505 "Safety zones"

Hope this helps, and BE SAFE!

You need the owner's permission to hunt within 50 yds [Archery] or 150 yds [Rifle/shotgun/muzzleloader] so it your yard is more than 50/150 yds from your neighbors you can give yourself permission...

The latest development behind my camp has two spots where the houses are within 130 yds of the state boundary according to my BIL's rangefinder so I walk just inside the line...

Keep in mind you can not fire into or through a safety zone either?
