    Default OC/CC in Ohio

Going to Ohio for a few days.

This is what I believe to know.
Ohio has no reciprocity with Pa
    Ohio honors peaceable journey 18USC926A.
Ohio allows OC, but not while in a vehicle without a permit (similar to Pa).

Any additional input would be helpful.

Ohio honors Utah non-resident permits, to the best of my knowledge, so if you go there regularly, it might behoove you to get one. (See http://www.fireinstitute.org for more info on the class you need to take.)

It's probably been 7 or 8 years since I've been to Ohio.
I do plan on getting my FL permit, but that will take months.

Ohio recently overturned their local pre-emption laws, so everything is uniform like PA. Ohio does have a decent sized list of off-limit places.

    Where are you going?

Ohio IMO is not exceptionally gun friendly, plenty of don’ts, must inform Leo's all that stuff.

I have an e-mail into the AG's office. Hopefully they'll be prompt.

I forget the name of the town, but it's between Akron and Cleveland.
Some guys (friend of a friend) property that adjoins a small national Park.

I know the pre-emption laws have been overturned, but there is much legal wrangling over it, and I wouldn't expect LEO's to be informed.
Don't really plan on Oc'ing or even leaving the property until it's time to go home, since there will be much food and drink on hand.

I do plan on bringing 8-10 firearms with me for shooting during those times when I'm sober. Which is why I am inquiring.
