CZ (Zastava) 99 mag question
Hey Everybody,
I just picked up a CZ 99 and am wondering if anybody is familiar with it.
It's been sold under various names, CZ 99, TZ 99, ZDA, and currently it's marketed as the EAA EZ9.
It looks like a Sig P226, but the internals are totally different.
I'd like to pick up some extra mags, but they seem to be a bit hard to find. I know the P226 mags can be modified to fit, but I'm not sure what the modification is.
If anybody has any input it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: CZ (Zastava) 99 mag question
I'm pretty sure CDNN has them. I do know they were selling the EZ9 for a real good price.
I don't have a catalog with me here at work, but that would be the 1st place I'd look.
How do you like the pistol so far?

Re: CZ (Zastava) 99 mag question
I'm really happy with it. I haven't spent too much time with it yet, but its as accurate as I am, and it seems I'm better with it from longer distances than other pistols I have.
When I found it, I had been thinking about a sig p226, but this happened to be there. It looks identical and was $350 cheaper, how could I say no?
The only major difference I notice right away is that this has a heavier trigger pull than the the sig. I fed it 200 rounds of the crappiest ammo I had and it ate it all up without complaining.
So far, I'm thrilled with it. I may have the trigger worked on, but other than that I have no complaints.

Re: CZ (Zastava) 99 mag question
The mod is that you need to cut a center SQUARE hole in the front of the mag..
The Beretta 92 mags also work.. can be had for $15 or so on GB for 15 rounds..

Re: CZ (Zastava) 99 mag question
Hi, Tim check you PM's. The CZ99 is not an actual CZ brand pistol. But I like them to. They are built to NATO specs and are very reliable
One of my favorite 9mm pistols for sure.
These magazines fit flush with the bottom of the grip - http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...sting-_-347311
