Ccw while voting?
I am headed out the door in a couple of hours and can't remember whether I can carry concealed at the local public school when I vote. Too lazy (tired?) to find this information. Does anyone know? It has been my understanding that no carry is allowed in government buildings and post offices. Other than that, I didn't think that there was a restriction.
Anyone know for certain?
Thanks.

No, you can't. K-12 schools, public or private, are off limits.

Sounds like double standard, using school zone to remove constitutional rights?
After all constitutional law came before school zone. Voters rights should also be first and foremost, especially since the school is closed on election day.
Just my .02! Definitely not one of them lawyer types, you know edumacated an all. lol-Remember the Constitution-

Re: Ccw while voting?
While I agree that schools shouldn't be disarmed areas, the law is the law. I am not willing to lose my license, face jail time or fines just to protest and then vote. My dad called that falling on your sword!
This vote locally is very important and one of the candidates I supported won by 19 votes. So, for less than an hour I was unprotected.
