How do you use this forum?

Normally UserCP/New Posts to entertain myself.

If I'm looking for something specific, I'll suffer the agony of the Search bar, then resort to browsing the subforums.

just so you know, you don't have to use the Search bar. That thing sucks hard.

"User CP" first to check for rep and subscribed threads, then "New Posts" after that.

Searching each forum and sub-forum takes waaaay too much time.

Fair enough, but the built in vB search is much better than the google search...
