    Default New Glock 23

Went out today and bought a new Glock 23 as my carry gun. So far I love the feel and fit of it and hopefully next weekend I'll get some rounds through. Traded a Ruger Super Redhawk (safe queen) and an old old 22 rev. so I basically only paid for the ammo. The Glock seems to fit me a lot better than the Bersa Thunder 380 that I've been carrying.

Congrats on the new Glock. I have a G23 & alternate it & the G30 as carry guns. I recently got a 9mm Lone Wolf conversion barrel for it, which makes it a Glock & a half. I think you'll like it.

Congrats on your new 23. I carry one w/ me everyday. I like mine so much I actually went out and bought a second 23 when the new models came out w/ the light rail. Great carry gun IMO.

    Congrats on the G23.

The G23 is a great handgun. I bought a G32 (357 sig) and put a .40 conversion bbl on it when they stopped making aluminum cased 357sig and it got a bit pricey to shoot.

I bought a second G23 and this pistol was part of the "e" series which was prone to rear rail failure. Glock took care of it by replacing the receiver and prefaced the S/N with a 1 to indicate replacement.

I have probably put upwards of 10/11 K through the G32(figure 7 or 8 700+ round training classes, IDPA for a few years and range practice). The G23 has a lower round count (probably about 4K with about 3 classes and range time).

My original intent was to use one primarily for training and the other pretty much dedicated to carry but shooting it enough to verify and maintain reliability.
Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.

Add one more congrats on your new g23. As others have said, I've had no problems with mine either ,with a few thousand rounds thru it.

Remember to pick up another couple of magazines for it.
