The Mrs is arguing with me about it, but I'll win in the end I'd be good for at least one chance.

Re: WANT TO WIN A HOUSE FOR $50!!??
Yep, it pretty much comes down to what my lawyer will tell me..
I have also heard I can raffle it as long as it's less than 100k, problem is I'm trying to get 110k, which about 6k of it will be used for fees and donations.
But if a contest it must be, then so be it,,, I prob won't choose an essay contest, I'd like to think I'm a bit more creative than that.WAKE UP OR WACO!

If knight0334 is right, the value limitation is on the prize not necessarily the sales. Give the market, maybe your house is only worth $94K and with the $5999 worth of fees accruing to the benefit of the winner, you would still be good.
On another topic
One thing to consider, I believe that the value of the winnings (less ticket cost) would be taxable as gambling winnings.Keep perspective, recognize the good in your enemies and the bad in your friends.
