Question Do You Have a Lawyers Name on File??

After the "What If" thread. I was wondering.

How many of us do have the name and number of a lawyer on file or in our wallets that we know we can count on to defend us properly in case we are involved in a shooting.

I must admit, that I don't have one on file. I don't know who I would call. Guess this is something that all of us really should be concerned with now, before the sh*t hits the fan and your in cuffs being told you got one phone call.

What about a thread that would list Attorney's that are Pro-Gun or something for our members. Is this a good idea or a bad one. Don't list the ones to avoid. But maybe the ones that think like we do. Could be by county maybe.

I've been worrying about this a lot lately, too. I talked with one of the lawyers that I work with to see if he could recommend a firearms-proficient attorney that I could retain but haven't heard back from him.

If anyone has a suggestion in the Pittsburgh area, I'd be grateful for a PM with some contact info.

    Thanks

If we can't start a listing on this site, and anyone in or around Cambria County area has a good lawyer for me. PM me please. I would love to get someone on retainer now. JUST IN CASE.

Still think a listing of Pro Gun Attorneys isn't a bad idea on this site. It would at least give you a place to start looking for one.

I only know of one in the Lancaster area to avoid. He told me my LTCF was not valid for Philadelphia or any other city of the first class.

I started working on this last week, just been busy and need to get back to it.

Yeah, avoid that clown at all costs. You can get better legal advice in the holding cell

Whole lot of you looking. But no one is responding. I bet like me, most of you have never thought about this side of the ordeal. What happens afterwards will probably be a heck of a lot uglier than the actual shooting itself.

If you carry a handgun, you WILL NEED A LAWYER if you use it. Be it to defend your right to have used it. Or to defend yourself from family that feels you wronged them by shooting thier family member. (Remember, OJ was found guilty in the Civil Trail)

I really don't think that shopping for a lawyer will rank real high on your list of things you want to do once you have actually had to use your weapon on another human being. So, this may be something that all of us want to follow up on now.

What are the thoughts on listing "Pro Gun" Lawyers on this site for all to check out? I'm will to do some leg work in my area to find out who is at least Pro Gun and list them here.
