Think about when this was about 45 years ago. This was when shooting competition was in it's infancy of what we do today All sports has it's Legend's & for pistols these men laid the foundation for us to really to enjoy today. Like the title: The Original Combat Masters! How many reading this think you could beat what they did 45 years ago? I would guess Not Many.

I remember seeing Thell Reed at an exhibition when I was a kid. I don't think he was much taller than I was but he was so fast. Almost unreal.
Jack Weaver looks like he had a rough night.

Wow that's cool, I have read & watched about Thell back as a kid, now I'm envous Everyone especially Bob Munden speaks of being the fastest in the world, but Thell was faster. No trick shots but faster on the draw than Bob. That's I've got an attitude, Bob Munden...lol & I'm better than you & everyone Bob Munden. Yea I meet him & he's act's like an ASSHOLE & we should worship him & what he say's down to you. I'm sure he's a great shooter, but he need to get off that high horse.

Are they all left-handed?!?! It makes sense though, much like "The Devil Went down to Georgia", they were given their quick-draw abilities from the Devil, who they are closely related to. Everybody knows that left handed people are the devils playthings.

I remember the movie Trinity, which means left hand of the devil. In all the video's I seen of Thell he's as good with either hand.

The picture is reversed. I know Weaver, Cooper and Carl were right handed. Reed was so good with both but I believe he's right handed too.

Ronnies111, I was 8 or 9 at the time and I didn't know who he was. I was just a fan of westerns (still am) and my grandpa thought it would be cool to take me. I had his autograph for a long time but haven't seen it in years.
