Acquired another 7.62 NATO rifle making this one surplus.

Rifle is comprised of what was explained to be a matching numbered Austrian STG58 kit built upon a Century R1A1 marked receiver. Do know that bolt carrier has a matching number along with the barrel. The receiver has the distinctive “widow’s peak” twin feed ramps.

According to the person who sold this rifle to me, it contains a number of USA compliant parts, including some trigger group components. My understanding of this particular arm is limited, so I'm not certain as to how to identify parts or dismantle the thing. Figure that with the current price of raw STG58 kits without the receiver, this complete rifle is probably a good deal. There is no carrying handle present though the receiver is cut for it. The builder is not known but the rifle is in overall very good condition. Has the metal Austrian front hand guard set and bi-pod. Comes with two steel magazines.

If this FAL rifle doesn't get traded off soon, the thing gets stashed away for a rainy day investment.

Would consider a trade deal for the following;

~ Daewoo K2 or related model

~ A couple of original, “unmodified” stripper clip fed SKS carbines. Russki or Yugo preferred.

~ Remington 870 police / riot configuration shotguns with smooth bore or slug barrels.

~ Marlin lever action carbine/s or rifle/s in .357 or ? As they say, a person can never have enough Marlin lever guns.

~ Lighter weight arm in caliber .223/5.56 such as an AR-180b or some other oddball piston guns.

Though there have been numerous kind offers, I have no interest in either AK47 or AR15 type rifles.

For swap purposes, figure the trade value of this STG58 FAL at around $825 give or take.
