    Default Walther Pk380

I saw one of these at Bills Sporting Goods for 400 dollars. Is that a good price? I don't really know much about them, does anyone have one or fire one?

cant have owned one, they are brand new. that is a bit of a markup since they should retail for less then $350

rumor has it tho that most if not all were recalled before they hit the shelves so to speak, for some sort of issue with it going bang without a reason.

i want one, just for the reason that its basically a beefed up P22, in a more sensible caliber for carry. a P22 may get the job done, but it will take a while and with well placed shots.
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

The previous generation I'm guessing was the PPS like this:

The PK380 is brand new to their line-up. I have handled one at a local Gander Mtn but I didn't do much more than that.

The PK380 is based completely off the Walther P22 design and layout.
The PK380 is new and just hit the U.S in late September / October. .To follow the popularity of the Walther P22 buyers that wanted a larger caliber, but not the $700.00 price tag of a Full featured Walther.

As for the rumored recall?? According to Walther Germany it was simply a production delay and no product had shipped to the U.S. until September. But who knows…..

I own the PPS and it is a compact 9mm that has done very well and still in current production; and has no relationship to the pk380 other than both being made by Walther.

i have a p22 and was lookin at getting a pk380 but i thought it would hold more then 8 rounds in a mag for a 380. i saved up the extra bucks and the wife donated some for our anniversary so i could get the p99c in 9mm. i carry it daily and love it
