    Default Magpul MOE Handguards

Just curious if anyone here has ever installed them on their AR, how secure they are when retained by the delta ring, and if they're a viable alternative to Larue or KAC free-float handguards when your only intention is to mount a light and not a foregrip.

Apologies in advance if these questions have been posted once before...

The handguards themselves replaced my fat M4 grips, fit great and are very secure, but can't say about attaching anything to them as I have nothing to attach. I like them.

I just put them on one of my AR's last week, they fit snug and have a nice feel to me. Mine are not loose or sloppy at all with the delta ring.

Same here...no problems at all & feel very secure.....although I may attach a fore grip sometime soon

I have them on my AR and like everyone else said they are very sturdy. Mounting a light should be no problem.

I like them very much. When installing them, if they don't seem to fit, it means you have them backward.

Where do you mount things to? I dont see any rails...

Only the government-and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws." (Edward Abbey, "The Right to Arms," Abbey's Road [New York, 1979])
I have my rifle. Do you?

you have to mount the rails - thats why they put all the slots on the bottom
